Come out to the German Club on Saturday, December 21st for our Lindy Hop dance. An evening of socializing, dancing and making new friends. The night begins with a FREE beginner swing lesson. No dance experience or partner needed. All are welcome to attend !

Lindy Hop is an American dance which was born in the African-American communities in Harlem, NYC, in the late 1920s. It grew in popularity during the swing era of the late 1930s and early 1940s. Lindy Hop is an umbrella term that includes many dances that preceded it or were popular during its development but is mainly based on jazz, tap, breakaway, and Charleston. It is frequently described as a jazz dance and is a member of the swing dance family.
