CALL FOR ARTISTS AND CRAFTERS- display snd sell for free!We are pleased to announce our FREE Downriver Arts & Crafts Holiday Sale at Wayne County Community College District Downriver Campus 21000 Northline Road Taylor. Saturday December 6th from 10:00 A.M - 4:00 P.M. This is a lovely venue held at the adjoining Heinz C. Prechter Educational & Performing Arts Center.
Creative Art Society organizes artists and crafters with their work to be displayed and sold. ( No commission ). Throughout the day numerous art demonstrations will be taking place - painting, sewing, ink drawing, pastels, knitting, and more. The public will see these mediums and ceramics, photography, acrylics, dress designers, jewelry, watercolors, oil paintings and wood crafts.
Visitors can discuss artwork with the artists and crafters while they are working. We also will have information on local art classes and art organizations. This is an excellent way to get your art and crafts displayed and sold.
This is a free venue and we love to have the artists demonstrate their art/craft. WCCCD is a beautiful venue. Each artist/crafter is given a table or space for free. Please send in photos of your work to be advertised on Facebook, Instagram and in the newspaper.
