Our final meetup for 2025 will be our ever-popular holiday party and yarn swap/sale. This meetup is held in the FRONT meeting room off the lobby. Sign up for food you’ll be bringing under the Discussion tab. There will be tables for yarn you want to swap and/or sell. Please attach a tag 🏷️ with your name and ‘trade value’ (we can’t sell at the library). There will also be tables for freebie yarn; leave some, take some. You might even bring a project to work on when you’re not noshing 😋 or petting yarn. 🧶🤭ETA: We need soft drinks/ice, too. Or tea. No alcohol allowed in library.
🎄 Also need a few strong people to come early and help set up tables and chairs.
💽 Who can bring a portable CD player for some Christmas music ambiance? (I’ll bring the CDs.)
🧶 How the yarn swap/sale works: There will be two tables for yarn. Table 1 will have yarn you’d like to trade or sell for a specific amount or value. Please put yarn in a zip-lock bag with a tag stating yarn brand, weight, yardage (or ozs.), your name, trade or sell value. Table 2 will be “odd balls” on a ‘leave some, take some’ basis.
