Join us as The Hickories Museum in Elyria opens its doors for the holidays. Experience the magic of the season by touring the elegantly decorated rooms and enjoying refreshments. The Hickories was built 1894 – 1896 for the family of Arthur Garford, when the population of Elyria was approximately 6,000 and Washington Avenue was an unpaved roadway. Garford, inventor of the padded bicycle seat, was involved in many business ventures and became active in politics.
Admission is $5 per person, payable at the door.
This event will be taking place during the holiday activities in Downtown Elyria.
