She is a proud graduate of the Denver school of the arts. Now a freelancing artist, she is always searching for new opportunities to grow as a musician and artist through performance, improvisation, and composition.
In recent years, Annastezhaa has performed with, recorded with and studied under the distinguished composers and musicians: Robert Glasper, Karriem Riggens, Derrick Hodge, Jennifer Hudson, India.Arie, Brandy, Common, Isaiah Sharkey, Brandee Younger, Keyon Harrold, Chakah Khan, Kamasi Washington, Wu Tang Clan, and Parris Flemming (Harry styles band).
She's also participated in mainstream television appearances on major channels such as CNN, FOX, and NBC. Annastezhaa has had multiple performances at renowned venues such as Red Rocks, Walt Disney concert hall and Carnegie Hall.
Annastezhaa has appeared in various independent film scores, her favorite being “Alice” (2022) starring Keke Palmer.
As a multi-instrumentalist at heart, her current musical passions beyond the harp (main instrument) are singing, and playing traditional style on the Koto (a Japanese zither, or table harp). Annastezhaa has had the honor to study privately with renowned Denver-based Koto, Shamisen and Shakuhachi musician Yoko Hiraoka.
These studies are put to creative use as she is 1/4th of the coveted Denver-based quartet, Ramakhandra- as the harpist, vocalist, and kotoist, performing at all major venues in Denver and beyond. Their music can be found on all streaming platforms.
