Holiday Mosaics/Smash - Morning Session

Nurture your inner spirit! Make a stained glass mosaic project to take home in two hours or less. Create a mosaic masterpiece from a selection of hundreds of pieces of stained glass, glued to a canvas board and made ready to adorn. In addition to expert instruction, the workshop includes quick and easy design tips, a glass rough cutting demonstration and all materials to complete your project.

The mosaic project's theme is "joy" unless otherwise desired. Students are encouraged to further decorate their mosaic project with markers and add picture/photographs on the opposite side. We encourage you to think before class about what is important to you (past, present, or future) so you can incorporate it into your project.

Rage Room Experience

All classes include an opportunity to smash in our Rage Room. Students are encouraged to write, draw or doodle an image of what makes them happy or sad on the dinnerware provided. In a symbolic gesture, the item is smashed to pieces, representing happiness multiplied or riddance of ill feelings.

The Fine Print:

• Closed toe shoes required. Glass or hot solder + feet = ouch! Long pants preferred for smashing activities.

• Participants sign a Personal Injury Waiver and an Intellectual Property Waiver to attend class. Please read Waiver before your event. There will be a copy for you to sign in person at the event. Adults must sign on behalf of minor participants.
