Student Leader Fellowship Program students at NMU are raising funds for Families Against Narcotics through a Masquerade Ball.
About this Event

Three students from Northern Michigan University's Student Leader Fellowship Program are dedicating their 100-hour volunteer internship to raising funds for the new nonprofit chapter of Families Against Narcotics (FAN) in Marquette County.

" FAN’s mission is to offer community-based, compassionate, best-practice/evidence-based services to people who have been affected by addiction—this includes individuals with substance use disorders and their families—and to erase the stigma of addiction while instilling compassion and hope."

As part of their fundraising activities, they will be throwing a Masquerade Ball fundraising event on December 7, 2022, in Ballrooms III and VI at the Northern Center.

Participants are asked to dress their BEST- this is a BALL after all! Gowns, suits, prom dresses, tuxes...and don't forget a mask! We will have some masks available to hand out. Be creative- there will be prizes for the best outfits!

Check out this clip from Phantom of the Opera on what outfits can look like!

Tickets are $10 at the door or proof of a donation to FAN Marquette (screenshot or receipt). NMU students are free, but a donation is suggested.
