You are cordially invited to our Holiday Invitational and Charity Drive! Join us in our final event of the year as advanced and intermediate players compete in a team tennis tournament. Winners will receive prizes from our amazing sponors at On, FuriSport and Barriere, and of course a holiday trophy for all the bragging rights!

Day of Schedule (Player Attendee):

• 12:00pm -12:30pm (Player arrival/warm-up)
• 12:30pm - 12:45pm (Explanation of tournament)
• 12:45pm - 2:45pm (Team tennis competition)
• 2:45pm - 3:00pm (Trophy presentation)

Team Tennis Format

Team Rules:

There will be two player divisions, intermediate and advanced. Intermediate teams will have 4 players and advanced teams will have 3 players. If you have your own team, please let us know. At checkout, indicate the first and last name of the other players on your team. They MUST be signed up to compete. If you don't have a full team OR you are signing up as an individual player - no problem - we will randomly assign any remaining players to a team.

How to Play:

Intermediate Players:

In each round, two teams will play against each other in two doubles matches. All players must play in each round.

Advanced Players:

In each round, two teams will play against each other in one singles, and one doubles matches. All players must play in each round.

Scoring:

• Each round will be 30 mins, split evenly between the two matches
• Players will play as if playing a set
• No ad scoring (receiver chooses return side at deuce)
• Once time is called, winning teams will move up a court and losing teams will move down
• Team that wins the most games across all rounds is crowned the champ

In the Event of a Tie:

• The number of losses will determine the winner
• Total win/loss record against each other
• Sudden death battle: singles 7-point tiebreak (pick your best player!)
