Holiday Homecoming, presented by St. Charles Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, will take place November 30th, 2024 in downtown St. Charles, IL!

St. Charles Holiday Homecoming is one of the Midwest's most spectacular holiday events. Join us for a magical celebration that marks the beginning of the holiday season in St. Charles.

Friday, November 29th

• Lighting of the Lights at 5:00 p.m.

Saturday, November 30th

• Free Holiday Movie at 10 a.m.

• Holiday Shop Crawl all day

• Electric Christmas Parade at 5:30 p.m.

November 30th – December 22nd

• Santa Visits: Saturdays & Sundays from 1-4 p.m.

Join for our annual Lighting of the Lights Ceremony on November 29th at 5 p.m., featuring festive holiday music, Santa visits, illuminated photo ops, complimentary roasted nuts, and more!

On November 30th, start the day with a free screening of The Grinch at Arcada Theatre at 10 a.m., dive into holiday shopping during the St. Charles Shop Crawl, and enjoy our magical Electric Christmas Parade on Main Street at 5:30 p.m.

Santa’s House will be open on every Saturday and Sunday from November 30th - December 22th on 1st Street Plaza from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., where families can meet Santa, share their wish lists, and snap holiday photos—all for free!

Enjoy additional holiday-themed photo ops throughout December, perfect for creating lasting memories and capturing holiday card-worthy moments.

Jarrett Payton and Family

This year's 2024 Electric Christmas Parade Grand Marshal is Jarrett Payton and Family! Jarrett Payton, son of the late Chicago Bears legend, Walter Payton, currently resides in St. Charles. Payton is a television host, motivational speaker, businessman, philanthropist, former NFL and CFL running back and devoted husband and father. In 2011, Payton founded the Jarrett Payton Foundation which positively impacts the lives of children and adolescents by creating and providing programs that present them with a wide variety of opportunities and to help develop their leadership skills and enrich their lives.
