Holiday Evening at the Embassy of North Macedonia with the Ambassador

Once a part of Yugoslavia, North Macedonia is today considered one of the most beautiful, peaceful, and thriving economic and tourist destinations throughout all of Europe. It stands as a symbol of peace, progress, and beauty in a 21st Century thriving Europe and a close friend of the United States.

Tonight, the Ambassador and his diplomats welcome us to a special cultural celebration that celebrates their country with a special holiday twist! Celebrating St. Nicholas Day (December 6th) experience the Christmas and Chanukah Celebrations as if you lived in North Macedonia. With Macedonian holiday food, open bar, diplomats, visiting Macedonian musicians and much more!

Your very special evening features:

1. MEET THE AMBASSADOR
Meet the Ambassador from Macedonia, Zoran Popov who will personally welcome you to the embassy and provide a special greeting about his country and what it has to offer. He will extend special holiday greetings on behalf of the holiday,

2. MACEDONIAN Holiday CUISINE
Enjoy a heavy buffet of native Macedonian food prepared exclusively for this event by a native chef. Tonight’s menu will reflect the holiday season from North Macedonia.

3. OPEN BAR
Enjoy traditional Macedonian holiday libations including wine, beer, and other nonalcoholic drinks

4. LIVE HOLIDAY CULTURAL PERFORMANCE FROM NATIVE MACEDONIANS

5. MACEDONIAN ART
Enjoy various paintings and sculptures on display from Macedonia throughout the embassy.

6. MACEDONIAN FILM
Marvel at the beautiful landscape and majestic cities of Macedonia and a short film highlighting the multiple regions of this incredible destination.

7. TOYS FOR TOTS
Optionally, please bring an unwrapped new toy that we may distribute to the marines to offer to families in need of extra cheer this holiday season.
