Join us for a festive and passionate evening of flamenco at El Rincón Flamenco, an intimate space in the heart of San Francisco’s Mission District.
This special Holiday Edition marks our final show of 2025, featuring an extraordinary guest cantor, Juan Murube from Sevilla, Spain — bringing the pure spirit and sound of Andalusian flamenco to our stage.
Presented by Theatre Flamenco of San Francisco, this intimate evening will include performances by Artistic Director/bailaora Carola Zertuche, flamenco dancer (bailaora) Marina Elana, and flamenco guitarist David MacLean, for a night filled with rhythm, passion, and the joyful energy of fiesta flamenca.
Celebrate the season with us — experience the soul of flamenco up close, where artists and audience come together in true duende and holiday cheer.

𝐉𝐮𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐮𝐛𝐞 Bio
Juan was born in the Seville neighborhood of Bellavista and began his artistic training as a flamenco singer through dance academies, flamenco peñas, competitions, and the prestigious tablaos of Seville and Madrid.
He has trained under the tutelage of great flamenco singers: Paco Taranto, Miguel Poveda, Rafael de Utrera, Laura Vital and Manuel de Paula. Juan is considered a versatile singer, with a range of qualities that allow him to perform from traditional shows to avant-garde productions.
He has travelled all over the greater part of Europe and outside countries such as Russia, Canada, Lebanon, Algeria and Japan as a soloist and in national and international companies. He has shared the stage with great artists such as Márquez el Zapatero, Luís el Zambo, Manuel de Paula, Diego Carrasco, Antonio Canales, Patricia Guerrero, Rafael Rodríguez and Alfredo Lagos, among others. He has participated in the Flamenco Biennial of Seville in 2010 and 2012, Flamenco Festival of Mont de Marsan, and the Festival Cosmopoetica of Córdoba.
He has done many collaborations with artists in Jazz, Funk, Latin music, Andalusian, Eastern, Hindu, concert poetry and theater. He has also produced his CD, “Bellavista” in 2016 and “Cambiático” in 2024.
