Dance into the holidays with the live big band sounds of Grumpy Old Men at Concordia Ballroom in La Crosse! Public is welcome. No dance experiene necessary. Come check out our friendly, lively dance community!Waltz lesson at 7pm and live music from 8-10:30pm.
$15 at the door. $10 for College Students with ID.
Save money and bring friends: punchcards @ $90 for 7 dances.
Swing, fox trot, cha-cha, waltz, rumba, tango and other dances are popular.
Often we enjoy line dancing to one side of dance floor while partner dancers are on the other side...plenty of room in this lovely historic ballroom.
Grumpy Old Men is dedicated to preserving the musical heritage of the Big Band Era of the 1930's, '40's, and '50's. A 14 piece big band with members from the La Crosse, Wisconsin area, the band consists of mostly retired musicians who still love to play their instruments and the music of the swing era. The band's repertoire includes the music of Glenn Miller, Les Brown, George Gershwin and many others. Grumpy Old Men play at many public events, nursing homes, and assisted living homes, and has been performing for over 30 years. This is a truly BIG band!
