We are thrilled to welcome Aaron Mastin, costume and production designer for television and movies —and also a WHM Site Interpreter—as our guest speaker. Aaron will share fascinating insights into colonial fashion, exploring it from every angle and from the inside out!
About Aaron:
Aaron Mastin is an acclaimed designer from Fredericksburg, Virginia, specializing in costume, scenic, and projection design. His work spans major films, documentaries, TV series, Broadway, and regional theater, with credits including Winter’s Tale, Lincoln, 12 Years a Slave, and John Adams. He currently works for both the James Monroe Museum and Washington Heritage Museums. In his free time, you might find him restoring his historic home in Falmouth, Virginia, where he blends his passion for preservation with his creative talents.
About Kathleen:
With over twenty years of experience, Kathleen Allison is a talented harpist based in Virginia, bringing her enchanting sounds to intimate occasions throughout Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. Kathleen plays a stunning Lyon and Healy pedal harp, known for its rich tones and exquisite craftsmanship. Her wide repertoire spans classical, contemporary, and traditional pieces.
The ticket price for this fundraiser tea is $60 per person and includes a Full Tea with a selection of savories and sweets, hot tea, live music, and a presentation by our guest speaker.
