Holiday Book + Puzzle Swap

See You in San Diego is bringing one of our most popular recurring events to MAKE Cafe in Normal Heights, Sunday, December 13 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm! Bring a book you've loved, swap it for a future favorite, and swap puzzles, all while sipping on a delicious coffee.

MAKE Cafe is a 501(c)3 nonprofit and farm-to-table café in San Diego’s Normal Heights neighborhood. In addition to serving fresh, globally inspired breakfast, brunch, and lunch, MAKE Cafe employs and empowers refugee and immigrant women through 12-week job readiness programs. Through paid transitional employment, English coaching, job training, and personalized support, MAKE helps women gain real-world experience and build pathways to long-term employment — all while bringing fresh, globally inspired food to the San Diego community.
