Guest Speaker: Alix Durant will be providing an overview of gender affirming care, with a focus on transgender children and teens. He will cover what gender affirming care means, what it may look like, why it is important, and mythbust some common misconceptions. Alix will also talk about their own gender journey and his experience with gender affirming care. Please bring any questions you may have and an open mind!
Alix (he/they) is a former sexual health educator with an emphasis on inclusivity and accessibility in the classroom. They are passionate about transgender rights and believe that education can be a bridge to understanding.
