A time capsule of pre-Y2K coolness, GO is a one-of-a-kind Christmas film for the disenfranchised Gen X-er. Released the same month as, and completely overshadowed by, The Matrix, this drug-addled film entangles the lives of three young Californians on Christmas Eve. Featuring an ensemble cast of soon to be famous actors (Sarah Polley, Katie Holmes, Timothy Olyphant, Taye Diggs, Melissa McCarthy, and so many more), Go is a masterpiece of rapid-fire storytelling, sharp-as-knives dialogue, and brilliant casting.
About the Film:
After covering a shift for her coworker, 18-year old Ronna (Sarah Polley) is approached by two men (Scott Wolf, Jay Mohr) looking for Ecstasy. Desperate for rent money, Ronna jumps headfirst into a tangled web of drugs, sex, and discount housewares MLMs. Everything that can go wrong, will go wrong, in this sleeper cult hit from the last year of the 90's.
