Some couples are newlyweds or preparing for marriage and want to build a strong foundation.
Others have been married for decades and want to deepen what they already share.
Others feel distant or regularly experience conflict in their relationship and want support in restoring closeness and connection.
- Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy: The program uses EFT, a research-backed method, to help couples understand and reshape their emotional responses to foster safety and trust.
- Seven Conversations: The workshop guides couples through seven key conversations independently with the facilitator's support, focusing on: the science of attachment, recognizing the disconnecting dialog, the path to repair, bonding, and remaining connected.
- Activities: The weekend will also include educational sessions, couples exercises, and brief group discussions to help deepen the understanding of the concepts.
- Snacks/Lunch: Short breaks with snacks and beverages will be provided throughout the weekend. Lunch is provided on Saturday.
Hold Me Tight Workshops are based on: the book, established curriculum, and the Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy model by Dr. Sue Johnson
This is intended for couples committed to their relationship and are able to engage in conversational exercises independently with their partner. If you are not sure this is right for you schedule a call with me and I would love to help you decide.
These Workshops are an educational resource for couples interested in enhancing the quality of their relationship. This program is not intended to be a substitute for individual or couples therapy with a trained professional therapist and does not establish a therapeutic relationship with Heather Pederson, Pederson Marriage & Family Therapy Inc., assisting facilitators, or hosting entities.
