Last year, over 150 people gathered in Northern Virginia for the Virginia Open Keiko. It was fantastic.,
We are doing it again in Memphis.
Hokubei Budogu Annual Open Keiko 2025 will be co-hosted by Memphis Kendo Association and Hokubei Budogu, with special guest Yutaro Matsuura sensei (Renshi 7 dan, Head Sensei of Koyokai Kendo in Michigan)
Matsuura sensei will host a workshop on Seme and Tame.
We hear about it all the time, but do we really understand it and utilize it? The workshop is about interacting with Matsuura sensei and getting personal attention to help you really learn. Not a sit-and-listen session.
The workshop will be followed by godo-keiko! We will do our best to ensure everyone gets to jigeiko with each other!
