Celebrate the close of the year with great music, dance, friends and family, and food and drink. It’s the best party in town for a toe-tappin’ New Year’s Eve celebration! 🎊 Hogmanay, or Scottish New Year’s Eve, has been celebrated since pagan times. Join us for our 13th annual Hogman-eh! - the biggest and best Hogmanay celebration outside of bonnie Scotland!

2 pm – the Hall of Origins
Meet community organizations and explore the genealogy the clans. Taking place in the foyer, this aspect of the event is free.
4:30 pm - Great Scot Kids Zone
Doors open to the ballroom and children’s activities get underway. Children under 12 are admitted free, and accompanying adults are required to pay the entrance fee.
LIVE MUSIC CELEBRATIONS BEGIN
5 pm - Hogman-Eh! ‘24 Musical Line Up
* John Young, local tenor, will sing a medley of treasured Scottish songs.
* Ottawa area Highland Dance schools will demonstrate their students’ impressive talents.
* Cape Breton fiddler Ernie Fraser takes the stage.
BRINGING IN THE BELLS (midnight in Scotland)
6:50 - 7 pm - The RCAF pipe band make their grand entrance to count down to the arrival of the New Year in Scotland. A Hogman-Eh! tradition geared to allow the kiddies to experience the excitement of ringing in the new year!
Brandy ‘N’ Port - bringing favourite Celtic tunes to the party.
The Devil’s Brigade - A world-class rock band, formerly known as the American Rogues, boasts both Canadian and American roots - their name pays homage to the famed WWII commando unit. They promise a rockin’ good time Ceilidh with their blistering dance-along Celtic rock!
FOOD AND DRINK
On-site fresh food prepared by Dhruvees restaurant, whose Asian-style food is familiar to previous Hogman-Eh! attendees.
The Hogman-Eh! Bar, as always will serve premium Scotch Whisky, Scottish beer, soft drinks (Irn Bru of course), and a good selection of wines and other refreshments.
