in the Sub Genres of Country Music:

Legendary Country ,

Hick hop ,

Bluegrass ,

New School Country ,

Country Western.

The Bands will battle it out for the 1# spot Braggin rights as the hometown favorite and ... take home a cash prize , ALL the entry fees collected will go to the winner of the Hoedown Throwdown . As well as gifts from local small businesses . We will do a public A battle of the bands giving stage to the bands who think they Deserve the bragging rights as the Best Country Band in the tristate area. You the ticket Holder will Choice who get those rights and takes home the cash and prizes ( bands will be listed on our website hoedownonthecanal.com)

Thousand Acre Farm, a waterfront venue located in Middletown, Delaware. This 110-acre farm sits along the banks of Thousand Acre Marsh, featuring picturesque views of the farm, Reedy Point Bridge and the Chesapeake & Delaware Canal.
