In Memory of Bill Kitchen:
Former NHL player and Schomberg native Bill Kitchen passed away of a heart attack, at his cottage at age 51, in July of 2012.
After finishing bantam hockey, Bill Kitchen played for the Toronto Nats before playing a year for the Aurora Tigers.
He was selected in the first round draft pick of the Ontario Hockey League draft
by the Ottawa 67s, where he played for legendary coach Brian Kilrea.

He played 41 games for the Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs. His
life after hockey took him back to Ottawa, where he raised his family with his wife, Lesley. He had three daughters and one son.
Bill owned multiple Tim Hortons franchises in Ottawa and was active in many local charities. He was also a member of the 67s and NHL Alumni.
