HOAX: Hoax (BE) is a Belgian electronic producer and DJ with a glowing reputation for his work in afro-house, melodic house, and deep techno. Known for his emotive, melody-driven sound and seamless production, Hoax (BE) has released on notable labels such as Sony Belgium, HoTL Records, Electronic Nature, Thrive, Warner, and Cavo Paradiso. 2023 was a standout year for him, featuring highlights like his remix of NERVO’s Giving It All on Thrive Music and his collaboration with Max Vangeli on Love In The Night, which gained significant traction on platforms like Beatport. Hoax (BE) also dropped a bootleg of Tate McRae’s Greedy, which saw heavy rotation on Diplo’s Revolution radio show. Further establishing his afro-house credentials, Hoax (BE) delivered impactful releases in 2024, including Boomerang with Tania Zygar on Electronic Nature, Don’t You alongside Coco and Doumea on Braumer Records and his collab with Victoric Leroy, Yennenga, on Cavo Paradiso. Alongside his original tracks he has also delivered rapturously received remixes from the likes of Steve Aoki, Paris Hilton and Megan Thee Stallion, and his music continues to resonate with house music enthusiasts, regularly charting on platforms like Traxsource and Beatport. In addition to his official releases, Hoax (BE)’s SoundCloud is filled with well- received club-ready bootlegs of artists like Rihanna and Calvin Harris, amassing tens of thousands of downloads. His edits of tracks like We Found Love and Locked Out Of Heaven - the latter of which has been his most requested track at live shows from Lebanon to Germany and beyond - maintain his distinct, rhythm- heavy afro-house influence. Hoax (BE)’s early exposure to Tomorrowland ignited his journey into music production, which started with disco and evolved into the deeper shades of house. Now, he’s gaining recognition from leading artists such as Massano, Mark Knight, and Lost Frequencies. His unique approach, blending emotional depth with dancefloor energy, makes him a sought- after name behind the decks, with gigs spanning Ibiza, Miami, London, and Amsterdam.
