Course Introduction:
All HND Computing students must first complete a common first year (HNC Computing: Progression to HND in Computer Science or Software Development). In their second year, they can choose to specialize in either HND Software Development or HND Computer Science. This structure ensures they gain a strong foundation in both fields, allowing them to make informed decisions before specializing.
The HND in Software Development equips students with advanced knowledge and skills essential for a successful career in software technology. The program offers a well-rounded blend of theoretical concepts and hands-on experience in configuring, designing, developing, and maintaining websites, as well as software testing.
Students will study a selection of appropriate units designed to develop student’s skills and competencies to enable further study in a Degree Programme.
