Hit Me Up: Tie Me Down Rope Jam

Whether you're a skilled rope artist, an experienced rope bunny, or brand new and just curious, we welcome you! You may be tethered down, or you may get to fly with us. It also might get a little bit nerdy, because, hey, rope people.Please note that this is not a class! Feel free to get to know each other and share your knowledge or tie with someone new.

Agenda

3:15pm Opening circle and introductions will begin, so please arrive by then.

3.30pm: Beginners corner for folks. This will be facilitated by either Syd or Trixie and will cover some rope basics.

Additional info

• bring your own rope if you have it (there will be some to share if you don't)
• bring your own shears
• if you plan to suspend, you need your own rigging equipment
• this is an all level event!
• all attendees need a ticket whether self-tying, coming solo, or paired.

Your rope artist hosts for the evening:

is a professional rope artist, dominatrix, performer and educator based in NYC. She has been exploring rope since 2018 and has been sharing her knowledge via classes and private lessons since 2021. She has been regularly seen working as a service top or performing at House of Love, House of X, Tempo by Hit Me Up, Femme Fatale, Chemistry and other events around NYC. She is proud proprietor of her own studio space La Maison Privée in Manhattan, where she holds various sessions as well as small classes and events.

: In March of 2018 Sydona found her way into the NYC kink scene and never looked back. Since then, she's immersed herself into honing her rope practice, perhaps obsessively. She currently works full time as a nightlife performer, bondage artist, photographer, creator, and facilitator. In these past several years she's traveled both within the U.S. and internationally for rope opportunities, as a performer, as a student, and more recently as an educator. Previous to 2020, Syd trained and worked as a professional modern and contemporary dancer, a background she takes great pride in. With over thirteen years of experience as a movement artist, next to seven years of dedicated Shibari education, Sydona brings a unique, fluid, and delightfully sadistic perspective to this form.
