Not really monogamous but not really poly? Maybe you’re monogamous but still in the kink scene? The monogamixer might be for you! A public mixer for those who feel like they fall under the monogamous/monogamish definitions and want to meet fellow monog/ish people in the kink scene. This mixer is open to singles and couples, as long as you feel like this mixer applies to you, come join!

Q: Who is this mixer for?

A: Those who feel like they fall under the monogamous/monogamish definitions and want to meet fellow monog/ish people in the kink scene. This mixer is open to singles and couples - as long as you feel like this mixer applies to you, come join!

Q: I'm new, what's this like?

A: These mixer events are usually quite large, though we're capping this one at around 100 people joining us. That means there are plenty of new folks to meet, and hopefully the right types for whatever you're into. We know it might be a little weird--that's okay!

We provide some fun icebreaker games that help you to meet new people. Everything is PG-13, and it's fairly easy to meet new folks—everyone who comes to these events is specifically looking to at least make new friends. So don't be shy, introduce yourself. And if you run into any problems or someone makes you uncomfortable, talk to a guardian with a red armband, and we'll take care of it.

Q: How much does it cost? Do you have any BIPOC and/or equity discounts?

A: The full fee for this event is $20. The full fee reflects the true costs of running the event, including supplies and compensating facilitators for their labor. If you are able to afford a full price ticket without experiencing financial hardship, please choose this option. For those who identify as BIPOC, and/or those who cannot afford a full fee ticket are welcome to use our discount code EQUITY26 at checkout.

Key Details:

Membership: Most of our large events require membership, but this one does not require membership approval! If you're interested in becoming a member for our more private events, please fill out our new member application. Membership is completely free and only for vetting purposes. But it's not needed for this one!

There will be no tickets sold at the door, all attendees must purchase them through Eventbrite. If you have been specifically uninvited from Hit Me Up events, please do not try to attend this event.

Location: The HMU Loft, 120 Walker St, Floor 5 (not 5R), New York City

Dress code: There's no enforced dress code, but we recommend all black or something nice. A bit of kinky flair is always welcome. If you look like you're going to try to pitch us on NFTs or stock options, you'll probably have less fun.

Volunteers: We are looking for volunteers to work the door and guardian at this event. To volunteer please reach out to [email protected].

Consent Policy: This is an ASK FIRST event and the rules of respectful and consensual behavior WILL be enforced. You will be responsible for reading the policy and behaving appropriately.
