HMS EAGLET OPEN DAY

This event presents an excellent opportunity for anyone considering a career in the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, or Reserve forces to engage directly with serving personnel. Attendees can speak with men and women currently working in these roles, gaining genuine insight into Service life, the world-class training available, career pathways, and everyday responsibilities. By meeting those who serve, individuals will better understand the teamwork, camaraderie, and sense of purpose that define these professions.

In addition, the event welcomes members of the Blue Light services, providing a chance to engage with police, fire, and other emergency personnel. This broadens visitors’ perspectives on public service careers and highlights the vital roles these services play within the community.

Visitors will also have the chance to experience hands-on demonstrations featuring specialist equipment such as Royal Marines weapon systems, Royal Navy diving and mine-clearance gear, and other interactive displays. Live demonstrations, including boat crews conducting landings and building-clearance operations, will provide a realistic glimpse into the operational skills and scenarios faced by naval personnel across more than 20 stands.
