The Hmong Cultural Center Museum is pleased to announce the opening of a new special exhibit documenting Hmong life in St. Paul in 1981. The photos featured in the exhibit were donated to our museum by Mike Kieger, a retired local photojournalist. The prints in this unique collection capture community gatherings, public events and everyday life in the early 1980s in St. Paul just a few years after the first community members arrived in state.
To celebrate the opening of this limited time special exhibit, Hmong Cultural Center Museum invites the community to an open house, Thursday, December 18, 2025 from 2 to 4 PM. At this time, the museum will be open to the public free of charge. Refreshments will be served.
