The Federal Trade Commission's (FTC) Consumer Sentinel Network took in over 5.39 million reports in 2023, of which 48 percent were for fraud. Being able to recognize what's legitimate and what's not keeps getting more difficult - so we hope you'll join us on Wednesday, September 25th at 6:30pm in our DeMayo Room as we welcome Robert Jaekle of Webster Bank for his presentation "Fraud and Scam Prevention Workshop: Keep An Eye Out for Your Money!" In this presentation, Mr. Jaekle, Community Liaison Officer of Webster Bank, will conduct a workshop on steps you can take to avoid being the victim of fraud and scams.
