Thank you to our Chefs that joined us last Friday to share their traditional French cuisine with the group! Hagaman's Cookbook Club will again meet on Saturday, September 14th at 2pm to prepare and share the recipes of Wolfgang Puck: for further information, or to attend Cookbook Club, please either stop in or call us at 203-468-3890. As group size varies, bringing in a small, sample-size dish is perfectly fine - you've got this, Chef!Wolfgang Puck is an Austrian chef and restauranteur. Following the 1981 publication of his first cookbook, "Modern French Cooking for the American Kitchen," which was based on his Ma Maison recipes, Puck opened the restaurant Spago on the Sunset Strip in 1982.
An active philanthropist, Wolfgang also co-founded in 1982 the Puck-Lazaroff Charitable Foundation in 1982. The foundation supports the annual American Wine & Food Festival which benefits Meals on Wheels; it has raised more than $15 million since its inception.
