Please join us in Oakland for socializing and conversation about Oakland’s city Charter Reform efforts. We'll have time for networking and learning as Nancy and Steven Falk (both 1986 MPPs!) share what’s up and what’s next for improving / changing Oakland’s City Charter.

About our Featured Alums: Steven Falk spent three decades serving five California cities - Long Beach, Lafayette, Richmond, Hercules and, most recently as Oakland’s Interim City Administrator. Nancy Kurilla Falk loved working in Oakland for 33 years, serving the members of Kaiser Permanente as an executive focused on strategy and member experience. She now serves on the Board of Walk Oakland Bike Oakland (WOBO). Steven and Nancy met at Harvard’s Kennedy School as MPP candidates in 1984. Both are Principal Officers of the Oakland Charter Reform Project, seeking to improve the City of Oakland by working to amend its flawed organizational design.
