Join us for a Book Launch Event for Daryl Lanz's "Hitchhiking from Fort Lewis & Other Stories" on July 10 at No Name Bar Winona."Hitchhiking from Fort Lewis” accomplishes what the title promises: the stories begin in known territory, then carry the reader into the unknown.These stories meld the realistic and the fantastic with a deft artistry. Like the famous scientist in Beatles ’75, Lanz brings the reader evidence from alternative worlds and delivers it in graceful form. Elizabeth Oness, author most recently of “Leaving Milan,” Brighthorse Books 2015.
After a decade working in record stores, and another 15 years teaching high school English, Daryl Lanz opened Chapter 2 Books, a used bookstore, in downtown Winona, Minnesota.
