Hitchcock Retrospective: TO CATCH A THIEF
About this Event
DECEMBER 4 | To Catch a Thief (1955)
Starring: Cary Grant, Grace Kelly
Diamonds disappear along the French Riviera—and a retired thief takes the blame. Sun-drenched, sophisticated, and effortlessly glamorous, To Catch a Thief pairs Cary Grant and Grace Kelly against one of Hitchcock’s most spectacular settings. Beneath the flirtation, jewels, and Riviera scenery lies a clever game of suspicion and mistaken identity, with Hitchcock proving that suspense can be every bit as seductive in broad Mediterranean daylight as it is in the shadows.
