Local historian and author of Carsonia Park: Midway of Memories, Paul Druzba, will discuss the history of Carsonia Park, from its opening in 1896 through its closing in 1950. Druzba’s PowerPoint program will highlight how the park evolved over the years to meet the changing tastes of visitors. Audio of the original merry-go-round organ used in the 1930s-40s as well as the nickelodeon located in the arcade will be featured.
Books will be available purchase at the program.
Free and open to the public.
