Join us in Ballyroan Library to view the iconic 1960 documentary 'Mise Eire'. Directed by George Morrison and featuring the stirring music of Seán Ó Riada, 'Mise Éire' chronicles events in Ireland leading up to, during, and immediately after the 1916 Easter Rising using original footage such as newsreels from the time. Screen time: 1 hour, 28 minutes.
Participants are welcome to stay for a few minutes afterwards for a cup of tea and a chat about the documentary.
