About this Event
Engage with the history of the Pee Dee through arts exploration in this 3-session hands-on class designed for homeschool students. Deepen your understanding of art, artifacts, and history. Each session is inspired by objects found within the museum’s Pee Dee History Gallery, taught by Betsy Hoyle.All levels of experience welcome.
Betsy Hoyle holds a BS in Interior Design and Family and Consumer Science with a minor in Studio Art from Meredith College. Betsy has worked for a mixed-use building company, studied with the Palmetto Montessori Institute, and under local studio artists Jackie Wukela and Dale Weatherford. She has home-schooled both of her daughters at different ages. She has integrated various media into elementary art at the Montessori School of Florence and currently participates in the Florence County Museum docent program.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Aug 4, 2025, at 10 am.
Members get priority ticket access the week before starting on July 28, 2025. Only 4 early tickets are available.
