About this Event
Waterstones Cambridge isproud to host the Summer Programme of 'History Days' – where the local branch of the Historical Association brings national figures to discuss their favourite topic with the people of Cambridge.
We are pleased to welcome Dr Lucy Underwood on Catholics in Tudor England, Dr James Crossland on the history of the War on Terror, and Prof. Peter Allen on the only certainties in life: Politics, Death and Taxes.
Founded in 1906 but a small group of history teachers and academic historians, the Historical Association is a registered charity that supports teaching, learning and enjoyment of history at all levels and brings together people who share an interest in and love for the past.
