History at High Noon: Torreya State Park and Historic Preservation in Florida

Join us to celebrate National Historic Preservation Month and learn about historic Torreya State Park and its Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) connection. The park’s historic Gregory House–one of the state’s earliest historic preservation projects–stands as a testament to the work of Black CCC companies in Florida. Andrew Waber, Historian with the Bureau of Historic Preservation, will discuss his work updating the historic designation of the state park.The program and parking are free and open to the public.
Attendees will receive free admission to Mission San Luis after the program.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to ongoing construction, parking can be accessed via a TEMPORARY ENTRANCE at 2021 Mission Rd.
