Historical Marker Dedication: The Vessel Kit Jones

The Georgia Historical Society in partnership with the Friends of Kit Jones and the McIntosh County Board of Commissioners will hold a dedication for a new historical marker: The Vessel Kit Jones. The dedication will take place on Friday March 21 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at 404 North Way in Darien Georgia. The event is open to the public. Parking is limited. Parking is permitted streetside next to the park at 404 North Way along Market Street as well as in the grassy area off Adams Street and near the McIntosh County Courthouse.
