Sail into historic exploration with Fort Zachary Taylor Park Ranger Ed Cunningham aboard the luxury sailing catamaran Argo Navis
On Saturday, October 8, noted park ranger and Fort Zachary Taylor expert Ed Cunningham will lead a historically illuminating morning seafaring excursion presented by Key West Art & Historical Society aboard the luxury catamaran SV Argo Navis, departing from the dock at 0 Margaret Street at 9:00 a.m. and returning at 11:00 a.m.
Passengers will enjoy Bloody Marys, mimosas or non-alcoholic beverages along with a variety of pastries as Ranger Ed shares the back-story on the importance and construction of the Civil War-era Fort Zachary Taylor as well as relevance of the building through today.
Space is limited to 50 passengers - early registration is recommended.
