The tour will take you around the wonderful historic monuments, show where Martin Luther changed history, and more. WHAT ARE SOME OF THE HIGHLIGHTS?

• Discover Dresden: Often called as "Florence on the Elbe", Dresden’s beauty is undisputed – and unmistakable! It reveals itself to visitors at first glance and is characterised by an irresistible combination of romantic landscape, baroque architecture and one of the most beautiful historic city centres in Germany.
• Dresden Christmas Market: Dresden’s Striezelmarkt is considered to be the oldest Christmas market in Germany (since 1434, so over 550 years old). But it’s not just its record age that attracts visitors; it also boasts other outstanding features, such as the world’s tallest, 14.61-metre-high Ore Mountain step pyramid, what is likely to be the world’s largest walk-in candle arch, and a daily programme of cultural Christmas events for young and old.

Meeting location & time:

• Option A - Meet in Berlin Central train station @ 8:30 am on Saturday morning. Note: Exact platform to be advised the day before event in the whatsapp group for this event.
• Option B - Meet outside Dresden Hbf Train @ 12pm on Saturday.

F inishing location & time:

• Option A - Berlin Central Station @ 5pm on Saturday
• Option B - Dresden Train Station @ 8pm on Saturday

Dog Friendly: Yes

Difficulty: Intermediate - sometimes steep paths and stairs, moderate elevation, sure-footedness & good fitness required.

Price: Starting from 35 Euros.

What is Included?

• Community Leader & guide for the entire duration (Guide speaks English & German). Note: English is the main language spoken on this trip.
• Guided Historic tour of Dresden
• All public transportation for the entire trip starting from the meeting location to the finishing location (based on ticket selection).
• Access to google photos album dedicated for this event.

Other Things of Note & Items to pack:

Weather is temperament and can vary between raining & sunny weather. Would recommend the following at a minimum:

• Packed lunch for break during hike.
• Suitable footwear for hike (hiking shoes if possible, else any other good shoes).
• Rain jackets
• Rain trousers
• Hiking Shoes
• Suitable day pack,
• Sun protection (not required currently).

8:30 am - Meet in Berlin central train station

12:00 pm - Arrive in Dresden and head for Historic city tour.

1 3:00 pm - Visit Frauenkirche

14:00 pm - AVisit Dresden Xmas market

17:00 pm - Depart Dresden

20:00 pm - Arrive in Berlin
