Learn about the historic buildings, people, and events that made Skokie what it is today through this guided tour of historic downtown Skokie. This will be a casually paced walk with stops throughout the downtown area.
Ages 10 and up. Fee: $10 (resident/non-resident). Drop-in option available as space permits.
Children under 10 attend for free but must be accompanied by a paid adult.

This will be a casually paced walk with frequent stops to look at building exteriors. The route is about 1.2 miles long with a public bench available at many, but not all, stops.
Walk-ins are welcome as unreserved space permits. Walks will take place in light rain. In the event of more severe weather, we may provide an indoor equivalent at the Skokie Heritage Museum or reschedule.
