HISTORIC CUMMING CITY CEMETERY TOUR: Proceeds will benefit the Historical Society of Cumming/Forsyth County, Age Well Forsyth and Senior Services. Friday and Saturday evenings, October 21, 22, 28, and 29, 5:30-7:30. For tickets, $15. each, contact Ruthie Bruce at 770-781-2178 or go by the Senior Centers at Charles Place or Sexton Hall. Reservations limited and required in advance. Founding Fathers of Forsyth County are laid to rest in the Cumming Cemetery. Come hear tombstone stories of their lives and deaths as told by their character actors in the first person, many of these will be played by descendants of the dearly departed and are happy to share their stories. Parking will be located at the County Administration building parking deck with a shuttle service taking guests to the cemetery and back. Tours will depart every 15 minutes starting at 5:30pm. The walking tour will take approximately one hour. When buying tickets please choose your tour time: 5:30, 5:45, 6:00, 6:15, 6:30, 6:45, 7:00, 7:15, or 7:30.
