"Come explore the creeks that were central to the selection of Bethabara as a settlement site, visiting the original 18th century mill-site, mill race, and mill stones. Learn how waterways were crucial in powering the economy that built modern day Winston-Salem.
Check-in time for these tours will be 9:30 AM. The tour should end at 11:00. Participants must register at least 2 days before each date. This will allow the leader to contact them due to weather issues or other changes. Meet at the Visitor Center. Ages 10 & up. Anyone under 18 needs to be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Be prepared to walk on uneven terrain and dress appropriately for hiking."
