A free event!The Symphony of Northwest Arkansas (SoNA) and Springdale Public Library celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month through a special performance by Duo Capriccioso and SoNA artists, and the regions premiere salsa band, Son Sin Gnero (SSG).
Curated by Raúl Munguía, musical selections will represent a wide range of Latin American musical heritage performed by Raúl Munguía, violin; Fernando Valencia, percussion; Denissa Rivas, flute; & guests artist, Isaac Hernandez, piano. Join us for a musical journey spanning Mexico, Central America, and South America; the audience will enjoy works such as El Condor Pasa, Vuelvo al Sur, Sabor a Mi, El Viajero, Alma Llanera, and many more.

This performance is part of the SoNA Beyond series, which moves SoNA beyond the four walls of the mainstage, out into the community, showcasing the vast spectrum of possibilities for classical music. SoNA Beyond rethinks the boundaries of what a symphony can do to innovate the artform, include new voices, and immerse SoNA in the Northwest Arkansas community – to give audiences an expansive view of what classical music is and who it serves.
