About this Event
A multi-stop tour of sites and the history of Newport News! The guided tour will be in both Spanish and English.
Only 20 spots are available.
The tour will begin at The Mariners' Museum & Park at 9:45 AM. The tour will proceed as follows:
10:00 AM - Tour The Mariners' Museum
11:00 AM - Tour the Virginia Living Museum
11:45 AM - Tour the Mary M. Torggler Fine Arts Center
12:30 PM - Tour and eat lunch at the Virginia War Museum
*Lunch provided by Sabor Latino
2:15 PM - Take a rolling tour of Newport News Shipyard, James River Strand, Victory Arch, The Yard District, James A. Fields House, and Newsome House Museum & Cultural Center
2:30 PM - Tour Downing-Gross Cultural Arts Center
3:30 PM - Return to the Mariners' Museum & Park
*Lunch options include:
1. 1/4 chicken dark + Cuban rice+salad
2. Chicken salad (grilled) lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, corn, cheese & croutons
3. Cuban sandwich - roasted pork, ham, cheese, pickles, mayo, mustard, authentic Cuban bread.
4. Arroz tapado montado- white rice, ground beef, sweet plantaina, fried eggs & avocado.

The trolley is air conditioned and heated.

There are no seatbelts on the trolley.
