In this workshop with teaching artist Hannah Shun, you will make your own earrings using a cold connection technique inspired by Satoru Abe’s Copper Cutout work from the Art in Public Places collection. You will learn how to cut and stamp shapes into metal, how to file and join with rivets, and how to make your own earring hooks. Make and wear your creation! Please note: Masks and social distancing will be enforced at this event. Event will be photographed and/or recorded, so participation may mean you will be on camera.
