Generations of insufficient communication, broken teachings, racial, social, and economic oppression have resulted in the breakdown in male/female relationships and families in the black community. Time has not been a healer of all wounds but the time for change is upon us.Open, honest, respectful communication and actions lead to reconciliation amongst a people called and appointed to prosper in all areas of life is now.
The door of understanding, respect, and self-awareness has opened and a generation fixated on change has rushed through.
Respect, protection, care, and concern are being restored in the male/female relationships of African American men and women resulting in stronger economic, familial, and spiritual binds that tie us together.
We are one another’s keeper and we will act to live wholly in this society for generations to come.
