Join us at Orgyen Khandroling for a rare visit by His Holiness Kyabgon Gongma Trichen Rinpoche (The Sakya Trichen) on Chokor Duchen. We are honored to be visited by such a great master of Tibetan Buddhism, and offer everyone this unique opportunity right in our downtown Denver center. His Holiness the Sakya Trichen will also consecrate Orgyen Khandroling's shrine. About His Holiness the Sakya Trichen:
His Holiness Kyabgon Gongma Trichen Rinpoche (The Sakya Trichen) served as the 41st head of the Sakya Order of Tibetan Buddhism until March 2017.
His Holiness the Sakya Trichen is a member of Tibet‘s noble Khon family, which founded the Sakya Order in the eleventh and twelfth centuries. Just as His Holiness the Dalai Lama is an emanation of Avalokiteshvara, the manifestation of all the Buddha’s great compassion, His Holiness the Sakya Trichen is the manifestation of all the Buddha’s transcendent wisdom.
In addition to his leadership of the Sakya Order for over fifty years, His Holiness Sakya Trichen is renowned throughout the world for the brilliance and clarity of his teachings and his fluency and precise command of English. Receiving teachings directly from His Holiness carries a special lineage of blessings from the founders of the Sakya Order, as well as from Manjushri himself.
Schedule:
12pm- 12:15pm - check in for all attendees. Please allow yourself adequate time to find street parking, as our center is in a residential neighborhood with no parking lot.
1pm -3:30pm- Public Talk, Blessing
3:30pm - Offering envelopes and Khatas to His Holiness the Sakya Trichen

Advance registration is required. Please register by filling out the form linked above and pay tuition invoice that will be emailed to you from Paypal by July 5th for our planning purposes.
Please pay your PayPal invoice as soon as you receive it. This will allow us to have all the proper arrangements at our facility to host everyone planning to come. Due to limited space and need for an accurate headcount, unpaid invoices will be considered a cancellation and may be removed from our list.
