This training module is an immersive program designed for yoga students and teachers who seek to deepen their understanding of the hip joint, its function, and its role in the body.Whether you have experienced hip pain or injuries yourself, or have students who struggle with these issues, this training will equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and work with the hip joint within a yoga or movement class.
At the end of this training, you will leave with a deeper understanding of the hip joint and how it functions within the body. You will be able to immediately apply this knowledge to your teaching and your personal practice, providing a more well-rounded approach to hip integrity within a yoga setting.
The program covers a wide range of topics, including hip structure and anatomy, assessing hip function and mobility, working with common injuries, and building individualized protocols.
This course is for anyone interested in learning more.
- For the yoga student, you'll come away with a better understanding of many common poses you see in your yoga classes.
- For those enrolled in our 200hr training, this module counts as .5 credits. If you've already enrolled in the full course, you're already registered.
- For those interested in obtaining a 300hr, this is also .5 credit towards the completion of your journey.
- For yoga teachers seeking CE, this course will serve as 5 CE hours which you may submit to Yoga Alliance.
