Hippies and Cowboys is a brand new band of outlaws originating in Nashville, TN. Bringing back a taste of southern rock, blues, and soul to the world. a sound that has defied the test of time. Their big sound and high energy shows are a must see! As an 8 piece band including two guitars, steel guitar, bass, drums, and a full horn section they are guaranteed to leave you wanting more after each show.

Their musical influences and taste vary from member to member, but the one thing they all have in common is their love for soul, rock n roll, and blues music. With influences such as Sam and Dave, The Blues Brothers, Booker T & The MG’s, Otis Redding, and Marvin Gaye. They also have a strong bond over classic rock such as, Aerosmith, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Eagles, Chicago, The beatles, Tom Petty, The Rolling Stones, CCR, and much more.

Most of their music has previously been recorded in the iconic studios down in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Such as, Fame, East Avalon, and Noise Block. Their latest recordings have been close to home in Nashville, TN at various studios such as, Welcome To 1979, Omni Sound, County Q, Laughing Heart, and Stoner Creek working with legendary producer Peter Keys (Lynyrd Skynyrd). These boys work day and night to create good music and perfect their live performance.
